SCAM ALERT!!
There is a national scam being carried out
in which prospective renters want to send – usually via money order
– more money than the rent specified. You are requested to cash the
money order and send them the extra cash. The money orders are
fraudulent. Many times there is an international connection. If
you are contacted, please contact the Ohio Attorney General’s
Consumer Fraud Office at 1-800-282-0515 or the U.S. Secret Service

Neighborhood Relations
City of Toledo law requires smoke detectors in all new and existing
residences. By law, the landlord must supply smoke alarms, but

About Us
The Office of Commuter Students and Off-Campus Services opened
as a branch of Residence Life in March, 1994 to provide students who
live off campus with assistance for their special and varied needs. We
organize programs, publish a newsletter and numerous brochures, and
advocate for issues
of concern to our students.
